We Were Here Tomorrow walkthrough
The facility runs in six sectors: Norček Facility, Cargo Elevator, Gravitonics, R&D Headquarters, Temporal Research Centre and Rift Zero. This hub lists every checkpoint in order, then hands each sector its own page with objectives, tools and rescue procedure.
Six sectors, thirty-seven checkpoints, one continuous conversation. This hub is the map: the order the facility runs in, the achievement that proves each segment is behind you, and the sector page to open when you are standing in it.

How this walkthrough is built
We Were Here Tomorrow does not publish a chapter list. It does something better: thirty-seven achievement descriptions, each naming a milestone the player reached. "Activated the Cargo Elevator." "Restored power to R&D Headquarters." "Closed Rift Zero." Read in completion order they are a first-party outline of the entire campaign, written by the people who built it.
These pages are organised around that list. Each sector page gives you:
- the objective the Director hands you, in plain language;
- the checkpoint table, with each achievement and its global completion rate, so you can see exactly where you are and how far ahead the player base got;
- the tool or rule the sector is teaching;
- the failure modes that stall real pairs in that sector;
- the rescue procedure: the same five steps, never dependent on symbols we cannot see.
The six sectors
| # | Sector | Objective | Closing checkpoint | % |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Norček Facility | wake up, pass the Wellness Check, print an access card, reach the exotic matter lab | All Matters Exotic | 77.7 |
| 2 | Cargo Elevator | bring the elevator up, reach the terminus, restart the magnets and the array | Any Colour You Like | 36.1 |
| 3 | Gravitonics | open Gravitonics, cross the impossible staircases, start the accelerator | Ensnared Potential | 19.6 |
| 4 | R&D Headquarters | reach the second floor, restore the building's power, upgrade the prototype | Double Time | 6.1 |
| 5 | Temporal Research Centre | reach the TRC, restore power, cross the construction site, grow a Battery Bulb | All Grown Up | 0.6 |
| 6 | Rift Zero | go beyond the Rift, find the outpost, restore the Theta Splice, secure and close Rift Zero | Tomorrow May Never Come | 0.2 |
The cliff is visible: 59.6% reached the Particle Accelerator Terminus, but only 19.6% turned the accelerator on. Sector 3 is where the player base halves — if you are stuck there, you are in the largest group of stuck players in the game.
The shape of every sector
- Briefing. Director Kathleen Bowe sets the task. The noun she uses is the room you are looking for.
- Separation. You and your partner end up in different places, often with no line of sight.
- Two-view puzzle. Each of you holds half of a system. The answer exists only in the overlap, and only verbally.
- Physical step. Something is carried, powered, printed, welded, frozen or crystallised. This is where your tool matters.
- Checkpoint. An achievement fires. That is the game telling you the segment is closed — stop solving, start walking.
Reading order for a live session
- Just started? Beginner guide first. Ten minutes there saves an hour in Sector 2.
- Standing in a sector? Open that sector's page. Each one leads with the quick answer, then the checkpoints, so you can read the top two paragraphs and put the phone down.
- Stuck for twenty minutes? Puzzle mechanics has the five-step rescue; three of the steps resolve most stalls with no spoiler at all.
- Chasing completion afterwards? All 37 achievements lists what is missable, including the four co-op pranks and two collectibles.
What you will not find here
Step-by-step answers for specific symbols, codes or layouts. The developer does not publish them, they differ by run and room state, and a wrong answer in this game costs more time than no answer: you will spend twenty minutes testing a stranger's transcription instead of reading your own screen.
What you get instead is the method — how each mechanic class works, what the sector is asking, and where the failure usually is. That is enough to finish the campaign without ever alt-tabbing away from your partner.
